Patriot - I keep listening to Come Thou Fount because it reminds of the sermon from CCUC a few weeks ago. I keep reflecting back from this past Sunday's message as well. It just like baffles me how God planned everything like a bajillion years ago and how He is constantly in control of things. It's amazing, yet I still can't fathom like every second He would weave into my life. So I guess with that, my main goal was to remind myself to stay patient. Kinda funny how I kept thinking patience in my head, yet street racing with peeps on M-53 Freeway today. Stay the course, as I remind myself and how it seems harder for others. Man, I must be a weakling then.
Then again, it ain't bout me is it? It's amazing how praying for others during QTimes and realizing my ish's are small. Time to hit the road baby, man I can't believe I'm recording Gilmore Girls right now. I must care bout my fishy that much ;) Only a few more days til I return to Chi-Town, bringing Joy Yee's back with me this time, if I have enough cash. The good part is at least gas is going down, now if only my mileage on my car would go down with it.

13 Months - Wow, I wish I was at New Orleans to take part of everything going on right now. It was only a year ago when Katrina hit and I dedicated the Chinese V-ball Tournament to them, donating money to the U's fund raiser for every kill I got. It's inspiring to see what is going on right now.
As for this year's v-ball tourney, well 3rd Place don't cut it. It sucked because we could of all played better, and I got mad at myself playing against Cleveland, putting one into the net, then only to come back to kill it but it got dug up on game point. I'll be back in 2 months to try and regain 1st place. Teams did get a lil stronger this year though which only makes it more fun, especially with the Korean Bomber now in this tournament too. Thanks to my # 1 Fan for her support of the Pass Kickerz.

Quizno's - Ya know what I am starting to notice from F-Book and My Fishy, is what's up with girls loving Grey's Anatomy and Gilmore Girls? Man some things that I don't understand. Any hoot, I messed up on one of the dudes that I picked for Survivor, which is I want JP since he is the v-ball pro to get in. I was excited to hear Becky use the word "Oppa" to describe Yul since Ona taught me that word, so I was like "yeah I know what she talkin bout." Plus Team Asia is kickin some booty but they still need China to represent next time.
Another day of rest for me which is good physically because I've had this headache and knee thing bothering me. Only a couple more days till the tournament, looking for a 3 - Peat. What stinks is having to leave CBC early because My Fishy and I are really getting into the Sunday School class. Oh man, next week we have to leave semi early too because of the Tigers game. Good thing it's on DVD so we can always make up for anything we missed. Also go Red Sox, because the Tigers are back in 1st.

Puka - Gosh I can't believe I forgot to write bout Survivor! Ahhh, it pisses me off bout this season so far despite only seein the first episode. If I tried out, I would of had a 20% chance of being on the show since they need Asians. Well it bugs me because the Asian group, has no Chinese or Japanese person representin, like hello the largest population of Asians out there. Dang it, I could of represented us. What pisses me off even more is they have Brad posin as an Asian when he is a mix of like everything, he ain't 100% pure bred. Since when did Hawaii be part of Asia? Anyways, I can't open up the peeps bio but here is my Final 4 that I'd like to see and my reasons as usual:
Candace - What can I say she's a cutie but she'll probably be the first one voted off my list.
Becky - Cutie and she is Asian, so a bigger plus.
Yul - Asian, plus he seems like a guy with good integrity.
Ozzy - Pro v-ball player, what can I say ya know he can do this.
Speaking of culture, just got back from WB V-ball, and we formed the Asian team. It was funny because a lot of the other teams shortest person would be our tallest person if he/she is on our team. It was a lot of fun, knowin that we started at the bottom court and worked our way out to be on the top court. The good part what my game was on from the get go because I got my touches. The bad part was hyperextending my knee :( All in all it was good to be back, and as we kept sayin "Come on all my Asian peeps let's go!"

Frog - Back in business as I like to think. Today, I subbed because what can I say I need to get a job in the U District. I was back in a school that I love because of the staff, location, etc. I took the job on Friday because of the school and it was 4th Grade. However, things weren't what they seemed as I walked in this morning. I walked in and grabbed my sub plans however, it did not say 4th Grade, instead it read Media Center. My first thought was, what the G? Then a staff member said that it was not right so I had to go back to the office to figure out what was going on.
Finally, they put me in a 2nd Grade room which most of the kids are on the needy end of the scale. By the end of the day, I guess I did such a great job that my name is floatin in the hallways. Hopefully something positive through my first days works out and all I need to do is stay patient.
Man this is some good char-shu I am eating right now. Anyways, Monday Night Football baby!

Dakota - Hmm how to look at things today? I kinda was productive, ya know worked on my portfolio for a little and umm watched some Full House. Boy, I need to get some long term thing going. At the same time, I was encouraged by an email that I got today from an old boss. Eh back to the drawing board tomorrow that's for sure.
Hmm oh yeah, I found out that I will be receiving an award on Sept. 30th that will be in like the Chinese papers probably. I was excited to hear that part of my Dream Team will be there to accept an award too. At the same time I was down because I wish I could trade my award in for the rest of my Dream Team. So I guess I'm in the middle still bout this thing.

Chapel Hill - Well I set a record coming back from Charlotte, just under 11 hours baby! It's funny too because we gave my parents an hour head start to leave and we end up beating my parents by an hour and a half home. Plus I can check another state off my list and say I've been to South Carolina now too. So the biggest challenge now is living with my sis once again.
Now it's time to get my life back to normal. First up, gotta get me a job in terms of long term subbing. Other districts I'm lookin into now is Warren, Troy, Chip Valley, and Rochester. Bleh, the fun stuff I see.

Skyway - Well it's officially over, summer that is :( It just seemed like yesterday I was working on my portfolio and preparing for VBS. Camp Mad-Hts had it's ups and downs, but I'm thankful for the Dream Team. It's sad that they may not be together for next year, which makes me wonder where I'll be at then. Then there was the poor showing at CCUC which only frustrates me. This is the first time in my CCUC career that CBC did not pick up any trophy. I was bummed to know that I did not need to stay for the closing ceremony. As for the A Team, that's 3 years in a row we've taken a step backwards now from 2nd, to 3rd, to now 4th. I appreciate one of my t'mates apologizing because not everyone played to their fullest, which only pisses me off to know that I played my heart out but not everyone followed suit. Things will be different next year, I promise on that.
Chicago wasn't all that bad though because of the fellowship I had with other peeps. Food of course was delicious and I ordered a lot. The best part was spending more time with my girl around the Windy City. Between the two of us, we ate $125 worth of seafood at Bob Chin's. I never knew a 28 oz. Lobster Tail and 16 oz. of Crab Legs could be so filling. Thanks to Ben and Jill for being hospitable and showing us around Navy Pier. Kinda wish we could go back on the Ferris Wheel again. This year is the latest that I've ever gotten back from CCUC weekend, which was 4:00 a.m. Tuesday, yet that was only to MSU. It was also encouragin to hear the message at CCUC but even more was to hear Chris tell me how he wished there was more Bible being used in the message. I drove for a total of 1030 miles over the weekend, new record for me.
Now, gotta get ready to drive down to Charlotte soon baby.
