Opera - Elektra is kinda right, the summer is almost over :( For me, summer is officially over after CCUC. So much has happened to me and it just seemed like yesterday that I was teaching VBS with The Franchise and The Legend. Time moves on, such as today I had the honor to hang out with fellow DX leader, Emoy and Dr. Amy. We went to the poor man's version of Somerset, Lakeside. It was fun because Emoy, and I bought Tigers jerseys. He'll represent Verlander in Beantown, while I sport Grandy.
Had dinner with B-12 tonight, man I'm stuffed. So many things have moved on but gotta stay focused. Woohoo, bought the Team USA Kobe jersey too! So many jerseys and hats to wear now. I miss my Camp Mad-Hts. kids :( but CCUC is only so many days away so time to start practicing baby.

Muddy Buddies - It's been a couple of weeks since I've blogged. I've been busy in the midst of a war at Camp Mad-Hts. Today is the last day of camp which means the closing ceremony. Niu2, ReyRey, Crystal, and I have been putting together this thing for the past couple of weeks. It's amazing how He works because The Diva and I have teammed up to form a good tag team. We had our first rehearsal and I think each counselor learned something in terms of prep. The kids tried their hardest, however it's not seen in The Boss's eyez for some parts. She keeps wantin to take stuff out of our program just so we can squeeze Camp Canton in which is fine. However, she wants to do this for the $ out there, ya know all those who support the Camp financially so that we could get more $ for next year. My kids have tried their hardest and want everything that we came up with in the show.
Obviously, we have a prob if my counselors or kids are upset then I am upset. The Boss and I went at it, she said I was "being defensive" so I fired back at her with the same thing. Of course, she was defensive and I smiled back because an eye for an eye ;) Master of mind games, she questioned my work ethic despite knowin that I am always the last to leave. I called her out when she shafted my Dream Team on their wages. Of course, none of my Dream Team will say something to her because she is The Boss, but I ain't scared.
She seemed bothered when some counselors hugged me and told me to "be strong and that they all need me to be there for them." Like I've said before people don't follow titles, they follow courage and mine comes from my heart and to do what it is right and hope that this is in His Will. I can't wait for the Closing Ceremony because I feel my Dream Team keeps gettin screwed, I'm gonna add a lil DX flavor at the end of the show. Y'all can call it defying authority against The Boss, but I call it doin what's right for those who put their heart into this program and got shafted. This will also show The Board and The Sponsors how my Dream Team have been treated. The Boss might of worn out the others but I will not break.
Example of shadiness: T-onda has to pick some Camp Canton kids up in the morning. She is not scheduled to work yet was asked to do this. Now if she drives them back to Canton after the ceremony she gets paid for a day's work.However, T-onda can only drive them there because she's comin to the Twp after. So The Boss decides not to pay her at all but yet T-onda still has to drive Camp Canton to Camp Mad-Hts. I cannot stand for this type of treatment to my Dream Team anymore.
