She tried to make a heart out of our shrimp shells, but I could not produce enough.

I just can't believe she out ate me in shrimp at Red Lobster!

A Big Mac Sweetest Day surprise ;) for someone

Thinsulate - So the past couple of days I've been under the weather, although it was His timing that when I was feeling ill, I didn't miss anything. For example, b-ball I was feeling fine then afterwards I got Steak N Shake for lunch (gotta love their shakes) and all of a sudden I felt so dehydrated. That feelin from dehydration lead to headaches, congestion, then to chills and eventually passed out. I was wondering if I could even go to worship and check out our guest speaker. So Sunday morning rolled around then all of a sudden I was cured or so it seemed. Although I took a lil extra longer to get ready since I was a little sluggish which made us 13 minutes late, doh! After the whole CBC thing, we went to our 2nd Pistons game of the season to see the Pacers. The fun part was knowing that her bro, and Jo were at the game too. Our seats were even better this time because we were right at the edge of the balcony, so we never needed to standup to see over people, and near the isle so it was easy to get in and out, and lastly no one was around us for parts of the game so we could extend our legs. We gotta win, but we still look sluggish out there. After the game, we had some yummy Friday's food! Gotta love the JD sauce :)

Of course, after eating it was that time that I felt ill again. My throat was in so much pain that I did not want to talk. Now I feel a whole lot better thanks to my special nurse :) So just the timing part was good because I didn't miss anything that I wanted to do. Our next game is next week, to see Mr. 81 oh yeah, I wonder if I should be a hater and sport his jersey at the Palace?

My new cuz, from the E.L.

Alley oop!

Hmm, if I was only on the other side

Hot Seat - One thing that I hate during lecture classes back in the OU days was how prof's would read word for word on their powerpoint presentation. Powerpoint is a tool to use to help you teach the class not the thing that does the teaching. A good prof such as the video series in Sunday School is a good example. I feel like when those prof's read word for word, it is like insultin my intelligence that I cannot read off the screen or something.

Which brings me to my issue from yesterday, and it could be mean but hey I said it, y'all thought bout it but just not to say it so it is almost the same thing. Do we really have to read word for word how much we spend during the membership meeting? On the plus side, at least this time they rounded the answers vs narrowin things down to the nearest cent. Then there was the vote, what vote? I felt like everyone was held hostage to vote so that we could eat lunch.

I'm glad I went to bowling afterwards to get away from some of it. Once I got home I had time to reflect on the meeting. Well first off those within CBC who are members should of been there from the get go. What the chicken are you members for in the first place unless you are tending to your kids for hot dogs. I used to skip meetings back in the day, but it's as if GP B said, if we are to build His Church His way then those who weren't there ain't helping.

Enough complainin, my solution is first let's skip reading the numbers. Just post them up and if anyone has questions then let it be raised otherwise let's motion it forward. Secondly, is the Board throws numbers at us to digest, and the congregation throw some legit questions that do not go answered. So why don't we have someone keeps minutes of the meeting and redenvous in another month to discuss everything. All bout efficiency baby!

Delfino and Big Shot doing autographs
Maxey, the next Sir Charles?

Sheed inboundin to Blalock

Game over and more games to go to in 07

Firebirds - So it is official, My Fishy and I are going to Vegas and SF together! The tickets have been purchased and our hotel has been booked. I guess we're stayin at Aladdin this time, which is new to me. Now I'm trying to take care of our rental car, I'm still trying to get a convertible :) My Mommy asked me why do I want to go this time since I did not go last time so here are my reasons:

1) My Fishy is going and I want to show her around.
2) I want to go back to SF, haven't been there since I was little. In addition, I am hoping to see Cece and family.
3) Seafood Buffet, can you say all you can eat lobster tails!

Well, I got that trip taken care for the most part now time to move on and take care of the other ones.

The Auto Show photographer said "Y'all have the most creative poses I've seen so far"

What a view of the last '06, already lookin forward to '07 with Shef

Wow, just realized how many days it has been that He has been with us. It has been a true blessing everyday.

Fuel Cell - What can I say but Sunday School has been a spiritual steak meal for me. It has been a great 48 hours, even knowin that my G-Ma is at T-Beau again. I spent a portion of some graveyard shift hours sleepin on the counter waitin for results from the Doc's. Everything has been good because it was nothing serious. To add on to it, we had a great fellowship at The OHOP again and although I was first bummed about certain news, in my heart I knew it was in His Will.

Then we went off to the Auto Show, and we went everywhere, checked out a lot of the cars. Of course, no love for the Motherland cars because they were all showcased downstairs. Then again I can understand because some of those cars were quite ugly, and the Chinese peeps need to show better work ethic like the other companies to compete. At least get some hot Chinese chick because that seemed to be the draw at the Dodge, and Lamberghnni (Sp?) areas. We gave much love to our Pontiac cars section.

I come home to find that my sis bought me my Arenas jersey from DC! Aw yeah, no one has that here I bet. Plus we got C-Web, I still got respect for the guy although A2 is still suffering from his blow to the school. The goal for the Pistons should be get rid of Flip Murray & Saunders, and Nazr too. I hope they do not bring in Jaric, is all I ask for. As for Super Bowl predictions yes, I would love to see a Colts vs. Saints with the Saints winning it to continue to restore the Big Easy, and laugh at the Texans for missin out on Bush! I predict Vinateri beating the Pats with a game winner too, remember you read it here baby!

Enough of all that sports talk, lastly My Fishy and I watch Raw to better prep her for Wrestlemania! She is gettin a lot better with knowin a lot more of the wrestlers. Then we Wii'd it up to end our night, so not exactly what I had planned for the last 48 hours. However it is His Will and things actually worked out better than what I had planned.

Don't even think bout it Mickey :)

The last regular season game of the year of '06

Doh, so far away, I should of just got a close up instead

This one is for the Dream Team

Sent - So my beef of today and actually it has been on my mind for a couple of weeks now. My thing is what's up with people text messaging me and in general why do people bother with it? First off, it costs 10 cents for me per text, yeah I may sound cheap but when 50 people are textin you a month it freakin adds up! Second of all, why do people bother textin me with 1 liners? Is it really that hard to call me and tell me or leave a voicemail? By the time you're done textin me, you could of saved yourself more time by just calling me. Then there was Christmas, not that I don't appreciate a mass-text message of Merry Christmas, but ya could of done the same thing on email! I know I ain't the only person who feels this way either, I mean why do people like wasting time textin me. It's like I bought a cell phone for its talkin abilities, not for it's typing abilities. If I wanted that then I would of bought a computer. I know I ain't the only person who did not purchase the unlimited text either. I still keep tryin to think of a good purpose of text message, either I must be really ignorant or there really isn't, which means that there are a lot of suckaz who bought that unlimited text.

Back to the Merry Christmas thing, I guess it's the thought that counts to those who text it to the whole free world. Personally, I'd rather receive an actual card because it takes some heartfelt thoughts into it vs. a mass text. On the plus side I found out today from my daddy that I can call the motherland without a phone card anymore on my cellie :) very cool, now see that is more useful to me than text. So I don't get charged with international calls anymore, woohoo. To the rest of those who text, stop textin me! That's why I got unlimited minutes day and night :)

The ACA award winners

I dedicated my award to all my Dream Team members

Reyrey gettin his shine on

Listening to The Boss's speech

The Boss introducing everyone

Chuckling after a good victory

Glendale - So yesterday we made a return to the E.L. for the start of her 2nd semester. Before then, I had finally given her part of her Christmas present. It happened to be a dancing Mumble doll holding a rose. Boy it took some scheming but I had placed it on her doorstep Saturday night then I hid in the subdivision. She was speechless when I had her come out the door, and that's the way I operate ;) I believe things should happen when they are least expected because it has more meaning. I don't like havin the calendar dictate if I should do something special for anyone.

Now I'm watchin the game, and dang it the Buckeyes better win to represent the Big 10. It's days like this that I wish OU had a football team. Anyone want to go to the Auto Show on MLK Day?

Another battle plan to discuss how to defend our title

Storm - Well my Christmas break has come and gone, and it went out with a bang yesterday. First was the sad part was cleaning the house but I gotta say My Fishy did an amazing job with my bathroom. I never seen it so shiny before, and she for sure put in more effort than I ever would. On top of that she is not even done yet either!

Then came the news, I got from my bro in Chi-Town. It was only fitting that My Fishy and I were at Blockbuster renting games for our Wii. It just seemed like yesterday that we had the late night/early morning meal at Ram's Horn for over 4 hours. I thank Him for the blessing of our friendship because I do feel like we our David and Jonathan. And it will be honor to be there in Brewers Nation.

Then came our first ever Hot Pot together and our guest of the night was my cuz from KPC. Lots of yummy food and since there has been so much, My Fishy and I had Hot Pot this afternoon and lookin forward to Round 3 tonight. Yes the beef was yummy too! After over eating, we did some exercise on the Wii.

We went to Troy Lanes for a night of bowling, where I would of surpassed my goal of hitting 200, if they did not turn off the lights in the 8th frame :( I was on pace to scoring a new high until they set up everything for cosmic bowlin with only the black lights on, so I was stuck with 179.

Then came the funniest thing was when I was sitting down and My Fishy was sitting on my lap.

My Fishy: (gettin off my lap) I think I heard your phone going off.

Me: What do you mean?

My Fishy: I felt it vibrate when I was sitting on your lap.

Me: No, my phone is on loud and it is on the table.

My Fishy: Oh, I thought I felt something vibrate.

Me: You did, it was me farting, hehehe :)

My Fishy: EWWWWWW!

The night didn't end there for me, as I Wii'd it up some more at my cuz's house. I met up with an old friend, Dickey as I like to call him from back in the day in RoachVille. It was good seein him back from the Army.

Getting ready to defend our title in Dearborn

What is so special bout the H2O Tower?

38 - Oh joy, another new year and here we are 2007. I spent my first new year's eve with My Fishy eatin crab legs with her family. Then we had breakfast with her family this morning and tonight will be dinner with my family. So I am takin a look back at some of the highlights of 2006:

1) Of course, nothing beats God blessin me with My Fishy.
2) Countless road trips to Chicago, Twin Cities, Toronto/Niagara Falls, NYC.
3) Las Vegas/LA, I did like exploring new areas on my own and going to Grand Canyon and Utah.
4) Dream Team of ACA, by far the best group I ever worked with. Don't know what I'd do without them.
5) Working at the Super Bowl, experience I might never get.

The only suck part bout a new year is knowin you'll get another year older. I wish I could just be a Toys R Us kid! Now time for the Rose Bowl baby! Better be a good game like last year's if ya remember :)
