Are you ready for some football? Woohoo the Lions won on the road! Although Charles Rogers is hurt and probably out for the year again :( Anyways, today was the first day that I got to serve as TeacherJoe. Man that was rough and boy do I have a lot to learn about getting Jr. Church together. I also got a preview of who I'll be teaching for 3rd-4th Grade, I love my class! Let's see my additions, my BooBoo, Belicia, Ashley, Lulu, Jessica, Jenny, Jonathon, and Amanda. However, I lost those that I've grown close to as well such as Claire, Phillip, Joseph, Abby, and Anna. I was upstairs making sure all the kids knew where they had to go and I saw one of the cutest things. I peeked in the window of the door of the 2-4 year olds. I saw Christopher and Audrey watching the video and dancing to the songs. I tell ya, it's all them that keeps me going when I feel down.

Last night I had this dream, that I was standing at the on deck circle @ Wrigley Field. The Cubbies? Hey I like them too, but anyways about this dream I'm standing there in the middle of a game. I'm watching Sosa just slam one right out of the park and everybody that I've ever cared about is all seating all over the field. However, I'm not looking at the ball anymore as it hit's its peak. Instead, I'm lookin at this one single star that stands out in the middle of the night. So now I wake up, and I have this feeling inside of me. It's a feeling that I've never experienced so strongly before. I don't like this feeling, and I went outside not to long ago trying to simulate the dream on my driveway. Well, minus Sosa and the Cubbies, but I wonder what it is that star is telling me.
Once again, I can't seem to sleep or get back to a normal sleeping mode. I've also kicked myself to another level at OU by taking 18 credits now for this semester. Still only a couple more weeks till I see what else falls on this kid's plate.
Still just thinking bout the dream, makes me want to go somewhere like now. But I can't just pick up and go. That's why I guess I'll be sportin the braids and rockin the bandana at the Teacher's Meeting tomorrow. After that, I get to see Ashley at work as she's laid out a challenge for me. The challenge is 2's v-ball against her and her bro, and of course I gladly accept. She's different from all the other girls that worked at our place before. I can sense she is definitely better than the Kim's and Andrea's. She's very cocky about her skillz and has some spunk when talking to me. As soon as I can put the dream and my feelings aside, I look forward to playing against her. I really hope she pushes me to another level because in the end, this is what I got.

CCUC, yes I'm back from Chicago yet I feel empty handed with a 2nd place trophy. The past couple of days, I've received a lot of congrats on our 2nd place finish. However, is it just me but man I'm disappointed with 2nd place. I mean nobody remembers 2nd place. In the end, CCUC deserved it more because I believed they outplayed us and they made their shots when it counted. Hats off to them, and to their fallen team member.
It was nice to talk to Congo and the rest of his team afterwards. They each came up to me individually, to say that they admire the heart that I play this game with. Their strategy was to knock me around, but I kept coming back at them. Boy did I feel like I was in the WWE Royal Rumble game with them. It was nice to chat with them and earn their respect as well, and I look forward to the next time I face them.
Let's see what else happened in Chicago? Well I got to see Joyce and Ben's new place, two totally different extremes of living space. I made a lot of new friends at CCMC with Jarter at their BBQ. I even got a chance to meet Tiff, Jarter's girl and his lil sis, Jenny. Jenny is so cute and I praise God for the fellowship that Jarter and I have. I spent some time going back to CCUC on Sunday talking to Bing and others, while looking forward to next year. I can't believe I spent $40 at Bennigans! Congrats to Bao as well, I look forward to seeing it in 2 years. What's cool was seeing a CBC Finals and that all the teams CBC sent all placed too! You gotta love that Red Rover Defense :) What was disappointing was seeing how weak the A Co-Ed division was this year, although thank goodness the B division provided some entertaining games. Gotta love our hotel rooms too!
It's the company though, that makes me miss the city of Chicago already. I feel like making a road trip back very soon just to visit everybody. Come to think of it, it seems like we're trading people Chicago to Detroit and vice versa.

Let's get it started as it is only like 24 hours away till CCUC! Eh, I decided to go with Britney as this year's dedication. I was suppose to leave and be in Chicago by now. However, God's plan was not for me to go until tomorrow morning. So, I must stay content with His decision and understand why I'm still here in the Twp. I'm looking forward to this weekend, and I just finished packing too. Errr, I still feel as if I forgot something? May the crowd get rowdy this weekend! Only like 4 more hours till I leave for Chicago :)

Man it is only 2 days away from the CCUC Tournament, yet I still have so much to do around here. I'm really looking forward to going this year because it's a chance for me to see many believers from the MidWest region. I love meeting new people from different places and I love seeing old peeps in new places. I'm really hoping that both b-ball teams and Juice's v-ball team can all pull out a championship. You can bet that I'll be at either of the C teams or Juice's games and rallying them on. So much to do, yet I am looking forward to this weekend. Plus I get to see my NY relatives when I come back from Chicago. I look forward to showing them around in Niagara Falls and Toronto. Anyways back to class, but I love this class especially with Margo in there. It's great because I have D, and Monica in there too the more serious ones amongst us. I wonder what night class is gonna be like? I have Erin in there along with Kari and D, so it can't be that bad.
