3-6-9 - Well we just got back from our Toronto/Niagara Falls trip, rolled in bout 4:30 a.m. We've been talkin bout this trip for a while now. We went to Niagara Falls first, and it has been a while since the last time I went there. We realized we could spend more than a day there trying to hit all the sites. We were thankful for all those who helped us take pics as we struggled to do it ourselves.
Then came the arrival to T-O, where we met more of each other's relatives. All I can say is somebody got a haircut :) but man one thing is for sure, I'd never go in that salon for a haircut. I don't need a guy washin my hair, and 2nd I felt like it was the Care Bears because everyone's hair had some sort of color, of course nobody had black. Are they all ashamed of their Asian black hair or something?
We went DVD crazy, and bought the new Rocky, Casino Royale, etc all the new stuff that are in theaters only :p So we'll be watchin movies for a while, then I also bout the new Jay Chou of course and finally found S.H.E. which I could not find in Chi-Town. We had some yummy Shanghainese food, and I had lots of potty breaks. Another good thing was that we went into Sarnia with the exchange rate at $1.25, and when we left we saw it as $1.20, hehehe. It beats the $1.16 a month ago too. Man now my car smells like all them bakeries we went to.

Beyond - Well Christmas is done and over with, kinda sad :( It seemed like such a long 2 days for us, and it was great having majority of the old crew of CBC at Baja for lunch. We dominated 1 section of that place, it is just too bad that I ordered the wrong stuff. We did some last minute shopping and had dinner with her family at Mong-BBQ. We ended the night watching Click for our Christmas Eve night. I'm still bummed bout no Christmas Eve service, I saw some of the other churches holdin service. Man that is 2 years in a row with no service!
Then came Christmas, our first together and it was hectic. The tough part was keeping both of our families happy by making so many different locations. We started off for dim sum at Bird Flu HQ, where we moved back n forth to each other's family tables then shifted to Qiwen's table. We caught a quick breather at home before heading back out to my Aunt Lisa and & Uncle Simon's for family dinner. The food was great, my Aunt Lisa's famouse Kalbi, my Mommy's crab legs, etc! Then we left there to go to Steve's restaurant for their Christmas party, it was fun because I got to play with Amanda C! She was tellin me how she hopes that I start teachin 5th/6th Sunday School and the last 2 weeks was fun learnin in Sunday School. We had a lot of great desserts at Steve's place. Think we're done? Nope, we left to head to Golden H for a late dinner back with my family, of course we were stuffed. We thought it we be our night, but then we went out to my Cuz's place to battle Karaoke to see out of the siblings who was the next William Hung or Kelly.
What's funny is how under my own Christmas tree at home, My Fishy has more gifts under there then I do. Oh well, we both know it ain't bout the gifts and we're thankful for the stuff we got. I love my toaster oven that I got because it's gonna be with us for a long time we hope. My sis got me a Steamer, because she is tired of lookin at my wrinkled clothes and I think My Fishy is tired of ironing my clothes. Much love to my new MJ Dream Team throwback jersey too! It was a long day, but we are thankful for a memorable Christmas, and ultimately we are thankful that He chose to save us all with the birth of His Son otherwise there would be no Christmas.

Hi my name is JW and I have a problem, I ordered too much. Cougie, hmm I wonder if he is gonna finish all that?
Not to be stereotypical or anything, but for all the true restaurant kids out there, let's see if you can answer this one. I just thought of it today when I went to see My Fishy at work and I predicted his order before he even ordered :) If you don't get this right then, you must not own a restaurant or worked in one long enough. Who usually orders Shrimp Fried Rice and Shrimp Egg Foo Young? I just thought it was funny that different restaurant, different city, different financial status, yet same order.

Fortune Cookie - So the big relief for me would be was seeing Eiley's daddy for my ankle. The good news is that X-Rays showed that it is not broken. It looks like the discomfort I've been feeling is that the tendons and ligaments are just stretched out too much causing some arithic pain, so the suck part is that I have to stay off on it a lil longer. Oh well, better than surgery I should say.
Yesterday was rather pleasant, ya know coming home after another subbing experience, was to see My Fishy making me some yummy noodles and eggs. After a quick bite, we went to Joe D's where My Fishy would see me in action at work again. Later we went shopping at Best Buy and Border's, for last minute things. But we're excited for the weekend when everyone comes home!

Disc Attack - So we went to Genesis House on Sunday to spread God's love to those who fell on hard times. The best thing was seeing the record of most CBC peeps going this year. I remember the first time I went, and we just had enough to fit in the old CBC van. If only we could of provided more toys for them and I bought more candy canes too, doh! The sharing of prayer requests was fantastic because of His timing. Sometimes, I wish we could go down there more than once a year. I wish other people would of went too because peeps need an eye opener sometimes at CBC. Ya know, they think their probs livin it large are hard, well these ladies are strong with the Lord and they make our probs seems so small.
Just gotta say, yes finally an Asian dude wins Survivor, my boy Yul! Man I really want to try out for the next one because this time there are auditions in Lansing. Anyways, time to go and confirm what is wrong with my ankle, hopefully nothin too bad but I can accept whatever happens.
